Survival rates with early melanoma

Hi all

There are some upcoming articles in Journal of Clinical Oncology that are very interesting in terms of thin melanoma prognosis. Is everyone aware of the website: for calculating prognosis of melanoma?

One  needs medline access for the main article from Queensland:

but the proposed editorial is currently available:

Thanks Ian for the articles. Great to read.

I am aware of for calculating prognosis of melanoma.
1)Does “axial location ” refer to “head and neck” or ” midline of the body” ?
    2) Since mitosis , ulceration ,thickness are 3 recognised prognostic factors , but mitosis was not included in the prognosis calculator of this website.
eg, A patient age 61 with a melanoma of 0.7 mm thick with no ulceration, but with 1 mitosis/mm2. it is a stage 1b melanoma. But the calculator would not distinguish it from another patient age 61 with melanoma of the same thickness, but without ulceration or mitosis, ie stage 1 a.

I think that will be in the next edition of this website
